Announcement of IPA Award Winners 2025

We are delighted to announce the International Paleolimnology Association (IPA) award winners for 2025. 

These awards will be presented at the IAL-IPA Symposium which will be held in Aix-les-Bains from 6-10th October 2025: https://ialipa-2025.sciencesconf.org

At the meeting, IPA will be presenting four IPA Rick Battarbee Lifetime Achievement Awards. The winners, in alphabetical order, are:

Peter Leavitt

Neil Rose

IPA will also be presenting two IPA Early Career Researcher Awards to:

Juana Alejandra Martel-Cea (Universidad Austral de Chile, Valdivia-Chile)

Olga Schmitz (The Friedrich Schiller-University of Jena, Germany)

There were no nominations for the IPA Outstanding Service Awards.
