International Advisory Committee

The IPA Executive committee are delighted to announce the appointment of an International Advisory Committee of 13 prominent palaeolimnologists from around the world.

The committee comprises:

The committee will serve from now until the symposium following the Guadalajara meeting. The role of the committee is to:

  1. Advise the executive
  2. Represent their nation, region or continent on behalf of the IPA
  3. Promote palaeolimnology regionally, especially helping to disseminate information about meetings, publications, agendas etc.
  4. Help to develop the strategic planning of palaeolimnological science in general
  5. Help to ensure that future meetings are located and planned effectively
  6. Attend Symposia if at all possible, and encourage others in their region to attend
